Quality Management Policy

Managing quality is essential in order to achieve Bumi Armada Berhad’s, BAB’s, health, safety, security, environmental and all other business objectives.

BAB is therefore committed to conducting our business to achieve our objectives efficiently and effectively, through the application of best practice quality management principles and systems, in order to provide performance assurance to our stakeholders.

In order to achieve our objectives, we shall:
  • Demonstrate visible leadership by communicating our Quality Management performance objectives and actions in order to meet our Policy requirements;
  • Maintain and implement a certified and compliant ISO 9001 Quality Management system across all BAB business entities;
  • Review and ensure compliance with BAB governance and client requirements in all of our business activities;
  • Monitor and report our quality inputs and outputs across all business entities, functions and departments in order to achieve agreed business performance targets;
  • Identify and implement quality improvement programmes throughout BAB and with our stakeholders against measurable performance targets;
  • Regularly undertake internal and 3rd Party audits and management reviews to identify areas of good performance and future improvement opportunities.

This Policy underpins BAB’s Mission, Vision and Core Values and is applicable throughout all BAB companies and will be the basis on which we work with our contractors, joint ventures, O&M partners and their subcontractors.

In addition, this Policy shall be applied in conjunction with other key Corporate HSSEQ Policies, in particular those covering HSE, Security, Major Accident Prevention and Asset Integrity Management.
