The position of the Corporate Security Manager reports to the Head of Corporate HSSEQ.

    Role Summary

    The role acts as the Company subject matter specialist, responsible for the identification and support management of Company-wide security and related risks; facilitating the implementation of fit for purpose security, crisis management, business continuity and associated contingency planning. All processes and systems implemented ensuring the protection of BAB personnel and assets.

    Principal Accountabilities

  • Deliver the tasks allocated in the 2016/2017 HSSEQ Plan.
  • Responsible for the identification and management of security and related risks, facilitating best practice implementation and the protection of Company-wide personnel and critical assets.
  • Develop corporate security and crisis management policies, standards, systems and frameworks.
  • Support top management and HSSEQ BP’s in ensuring the relevant security, crisis management and business continuity plans are implemented and maintained.
  • Support the training of the Crisis Management Team and testing the effectiveness of crisis management and business continuity systems.
  • Act as a focal point for corporate security and response activities.
  • Lead the design and implementation of security related compliance monitoring and improvement activities, to ensure compliance with international best practice and BAB corporate security standards.
  • Implement security awareness programs, as a means through which to facilitate a Company security culture.
  • Monitor and assess global security risks by country, including the implementation and as required amendment of country security risk profiles.
  • Provide advice to C-level management downwards on those current and historical security trends that impact or have the potential to impact BAB personnel, assets and/or operations.
  • Execute analysis and investigation of significant security incidents affecting BAB personnel and assets.
  • Liaise with security agencies, government bodies and non-governmental organisation’s, keeping abreast of international best practice and country specific cultural, regulatory and legislative needs.


  • Malaysians only
  • Diploma (or above) holder in a security related field.
  • Able to converse fluently in English.
  • 10+ years’ experience in the security field, with proven ability to handle emergency situations.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a military or police unit.
  • Formal training in industrial security.
  • Extensive experience of working with military, intelligence, public service and private sector security organisations.
  • Highly skilled in verbal, IT and written communications.
  • Experience of techniques for asset protection, crisis management, business continuity, evacuation and emergency response.
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial and governmental security techniques including the application of international, federal, state and local laws and regulatory measures pertinent to BAB operations.
  • Skilled auditor, with knowledge of ISO standard auditing preferred.
